Philip Loughman - President   
More than thirty years of experience in the landscape design/build industry and in campus planning, landscape architecture and capital project management for three major university systems.  Registered Landscape Architect with Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and MBA degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana/ Champaign.  Member of the advisory boards for the Boulder County office of the Colorado State University Extension Service.  Also President of Plant Source, Inc. and is a consultant in the green industry and higher education administration.

 


 Becky Hammond, Sr. Landscape Architect, L.I.D. Landscapes

 

Becky Waugh Hammond - Landscape Architect   
Boulder native with sixteen years of experience in the landscape design/build industry and is a licensed landscape architect. She has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Stanford University.  Prior to joining L.I.D.in 1998 she designed playgrounds for municipal clients and was the principal of her own Landscape Design/Build firm.  Previous experience also includes thirteen years as a business owner/operator and public lecturer in Native American art. She has recently joined the advisory board of the Better Business Bureau.

 Erica Gutke -- Assistant to Landscape Architects

A recent graduate from Westwood College in Interior Design with excellent CAD skills, Erica joins us with experience in operating a small landscape firm in Denver.  We are happy to have added another enthusiastic and hardworking Colorado native to our team.

Elizabeth Heldmann-Krier - Landscape Designer
Elizabeth has re-joined L.I.D Landscapes as a landscape designer. She creates a positive experience for her clients during the exciting design-build process. She is passionate about the lasting quality and beauty a well designed landscape can bring to a home and all who come into contact with it. We are very pleased to have this 2005 CSU Landscape Design graduate back on the team.

Chris Gallagher – General Manager
More than twenty-two years of experience in the landscape industry including seventeen years with L.I.D. and a BA in Geography from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Responsible for oversight of bidding, scheduling, coordinating and providing quality control.

 Bob Thompson, Master Gardener, L.I.D. Landscapes

 

Bob Thompson - Master Gardener
Oversees the acquisition and installation of plant materials and warranty issues.  Also consults on soils, geological and landscape problems. Education includes a BA in Geology from the University of Colorado and a PhD in Oceanography

 Jeff Franklin, Irrigation Manager, L.I.D. Landscapes

 

Jeff Franklin - Irrigation Manager
More than twenty-four years of experience in landscape and related industries and L.I.D.'s longest employee, having been with the company for nineteen years. Comprehensive experience includes designing, installing, and repair of irrigation and pumping systems.  He is recognized throughout the Boulder area as the most knowledgeable irrigation troubleshooter and is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA).

 Jo Swanger, Scheduling Irrigation & Maintenance, L.I.D. Landscapes

 

Jo Swanger - Irrigation & Maintenance Coordinator & Assistant to Landscape Architect
Jo joined L.I.D. in 2008 as a member of the design department using her B.S. in Interior Design from Westwood College. She has recently expanded her role to include coordinating the Irrigation & Maintenance departments as well.
