Landscape Architecture/ Project Management 

Becky Waugh Hammond - Landscape Architect
Boulder native with nineteen years of local experience in the landscape design/build industry and is a licensed landscape architect. She has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Stanford University.  Prior to joining L.I.D.in 1998 she designed playgrounds for municipal clients and was the principal of her own Landscape Design/Build firm.  Previous experience also includes thirteen years as a business owner/operator and public lecturer in Native American art. She has just completed a two-year term on the Boulder advisory board to the Better Business Bureau and served on the ProGreen program committee for the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado.

Erica Gutke -- Assistant to Landscape Architects
A recent graduate from Westwood College in Interior Design with excellent CAD skills, Erica joins us with experience in operating a small landscape firm in Denver.  We are happy to have added another enthusiastic and hardworking Colorado native to our team.

Construction, Maintenance &
Irrigation Management 

Chris Gallagher – General Manager
More than thirty years of experience in the landscape industry including twenty-two years with L.I.D. and a BA in Geography from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Responsible for oversight of bidding, scheduling, coordinating and providing quality control.

Amber Kraft - Maintenance Manager
Amber has returned to L.I.D to assume responsibility of L.I.D.’s maintenance services after a sabbatical to do her graduate studies in Horticulture at Colorado State University. She is also a Master Gardener with comprehensive knowledge of plant care and pathology, soils and management of landscapes. Amber is a Colorado native whose education also includes a B.A. from the University of Colorado.

Jeff Franklin - Irrigation Manager
More than thirty years of experience in landscape and related industries and L.I.D.'s longest employee, having been with the company for twenty-five years. Comprehensive experience includes designing, installing, and repair of irrigation and pumping systems. He is recognized throughout the Boulder area as the most knowledgeable irrigation troubleshooter and is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA).

Jo Swanger - Irrigation & Maintenance Coordinator & Assistant to Landscape Architects
Jo joined L.I.D. in 2008 as a member of the design department using her B.S. in Interior Design from Westwood College. She has recently expanded her role to include coordinating the Irrigation & Maintenance departments as well.  

Administration 

Trish Jensen- Accounting Operations 

A Colorado native with over fifteen years of accounting and business operations experience.  Responsible for accounting operations, purchasing, human resources, benefit administration and business service agreements.
