Philip Loughman - President  

 

More than thirty years of experience in the landscape design/build industry and in campus planning, landscape architecture and capital project management for three major university systems.  Registered Landscape Architect with Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and MBA degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana/ Champaign.  Member of the advisory boards for the Boulder County office of the Colorado State University Extension Service.  Also President of Plant Source, Inc. and is a business solutions coach with JP Horizons, Inc.

  

Becky Waugh Hammond - Landscape Architect  

 

Boulder native with fifteen years of experience in the landscape design/build industry and licensed landscape architect. She has a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University and a BA in Spanish from Stanford University.  Previous experience includes thirteen years as a business owner/operator in Native American art.

 

Jean-Pierre Cornet - Landscape Architect  

"The Old World Sophistication."  Has created extensive residential landscapes in Belgium, France, Tunisia, and Santa Fe, NM.  Specialist in lush gardens in arid environments; Gardens for the Mind and Healing Gardens.  Has 25+ years of experience in residential landscape architecture.

Amber Kraft- Landscape Architect's Assistant

Colorado native recently came to L.I.D. Landscapes after discovering a passion for landscape design. Holds a B.S. in Neuropsychology and Biology from the University of Colorado, and is currently working on a Masters in Landscape Architecture, her true calling.

Construction, Maintenance & Irrigation Management

 

Chris Gallagher - Landscape Construction Manager

More than twenty-two years of experience in the landscape industry including seventeen years with L.I.D. and a BA in Geography from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Responsible for bidding, scheduling, coordinating and providing quality control for the landscape construction department.

 

Bob Thompson - Master Gardener

Oversees the acquisition and installation of plant materials and warranty issues.  Also consults on soils, geological and landscape problems. Education includes a BA in Geology from the University of Colorado and a PhD in Oceanography. 

 

Jeff Franklin - Irrigation Manager

More than twenty-four years of experience in landscape and related industries and L.I.D.'s longest employee, having been with the company for nineteen years. Comprehensive experience includes designing, installing, and repair of irrigation and pumping systems.  He is recognized throughout the Boulder area as the most knowledgeable irrigation troubleshooter.


Julie Rimell - Operations Co-ordinator
Joined L.I.D. following over fifteen years of experience in fine arts plus sales and management.  Has completed six years with our staff and is responsible for coordinating landscape and irrigation construction and projet management.

 

Josh Gorman - Maintenance Manager

Josh began to work in landscape maintenance at age 14 for his family's business in the Kansas City area before moving to Boulder in 2001.  He has over 16 years of experience in landscape maintenance with more than 5 of those at L.I.D. Landscapes.  Josh has a passion for all things that grow, leading him to continually read and study all aspects of landscape management and gardening.  As Snow Manager, Josh is also responsible for the supervision of snow removal on LID's commercial and residential accounts.
