 Our Process

 GETTING STARTED

  • Send us the contact form under the home page tab "Contact Us" or an email and we will schedule a no-cost on-site consultation.
  • We will meet with you to discuss your goals for the landscape project.  We will show you photographs of similar projects that L.I.D. has completed and suggest possible design solutions.
  • To initiate work on your project, we will execute a simple Retainer Agreement and have you provide a small deposit.
  • Using a survey of your property that you provide, we will do a thorough inventory of existing hardscape, plants, elevations, irrigation system, and other site improvements.
  • You will complete an online questionnaire to communicate your goals, style, color preferences, and all the landscape elements you want.
  • We will create design concepts.  Then, we will meet with you to discuss design concepts and preliminary cost estimates. Changes that result from this review will be noted.
  • A final Master Plan drawing set and Final Landscape Bid will be created and provided to you. The drawing set will include a demolition plan, hardscape plan, planting plan and irrigation and lighting plan as appropriate.
  • Following any minor changes that are needed, we will provide a Landscape Services Contract for the work.  When the contract is signed your project will be put on the construction schedule and materials will be ordered.
  • One of our expert three to four-man crews will build your project with the supervision of our landscape architect and general manager.  If any subcontractors are involved, we will schedule and supervise their work as well.
  • You will enjoy your new outdoor living space for years to come.
