Potting Parties
A unique way of using our expertise
Over the span of 15 years, LID Landscapes and James Martin Associates have donated over 120 potting parties to local charities and organizations.
These potting parties are used to raise funds at the nonprofits’ silent auctions. Valued at $1000 each, they include a catered lunch for the winner and 9 friends, a guided tutorial on potting annual flowers, a custom arranged flower pot assembled by participants, and open access to landscaping professionals who can offer advice, tips, and tricks that you can use in your own garden.
Keeping Up With Our Community
From sponsoring local charitable organization events to donating trees to those affected by wildfires, LID Landscapes is proud to be an active member of the Boulder community. Much of our involvement is driven by the interests of our clients as well as our employees and we look forward to continuing to partner with more organizations.
Scholarships
Funding and educating the next generation
Scholarships are the lifeblood of the educational system. Many students graduate with tremendous debt that may take years and years to pay off. Scholarships help minimize this huge burden. LID Landscapes and James Martin Associates are committed to providing scholarships annually to those interested in pursuing careers in our industry.
Over the years, we have found that many students who are exposed to our line of work end up staying in the industry for the rest of their lives. Through this process, we help sustain the lifeblood of our workforce while also supporting students attending employee alma maters, local high schools, and competing at national collegiate competitions.
Our team remains involved with local schools and programs focusing on areas within our industry, regularly volunteering our time at high schools and universities to share our expertise and knowledge with the next generation.
