LID Landscapes has always supported a culture of continuing education. Over the years our organization has supported many students pursuing higher education through the gifting of scholarships, internship programs, and involvement with local educational institutions. We believe that through this outreach and support we are providing critical assistance to what can oftentimes be an expensive and difficult venture. It is our hope that this support will, in some cases, bring high-level talent into the green industries such as landscaping and horticulture. When provided the opportunity we will be the first to offer a previous intern or scholarship recipient a position within our organization.

One of our annual scholarships is the Philip G. Loughman Scholarship. Longtime Owner & President of LID Landscapes, Phil Loughman retired in 2015 after revolutionizing our company through his kindness and savvy business practices. LID Landscapes would not be the company it is today without his leadership through good times and bad. In honor of his longtime service both within the company and the community, this scholarship celebrates what he helped build and supports the family members of our LID Landscapes team who are looking to further their education, regardless of their chosen field.

In 2022 there were 3 Philip G. Loughman Scholarships awarded to the family members of LID Landscapes including:
