Morgan recently joined LID Landscapes as a design assistant. He was born in Vermont, spending several years back in New Hampshire, but has spent over 20 years in Colorado. He has always enjoyed using his imagination and working with plants which makes landscape design build a good fit for him. Morgan went to school at Colorado State University and graduated with a degree in Environmental Horticulture with a concentration in Landscape Design and Contracting. After his education, he worked for several companies and has done everything from design to install, and looks forward to continue to develop his skill-sets within the industry.
Morgan feels that one of the best aspects of what we do as an industry is to be able to provide clients with a beautiful outdoor living space to best suit their lifestyle. Creativity is one of his passions and he likes to apply that to most every aspect of his life.
In his free time, Morgan likes to do anything outdoors. The mountains are great for hiking, camping, skiing, and generally exploring, but just as much fun is spending time outside around the house, from grilling to yardwork to hanging with friends around a fire. Beyond that he enjoys home improvement type work (essentially building anything) and can DIY with the best of them. Morgan has always been into woodworking and has made everything from tables to bowls, picture frames, and wall art. He also enjoys cooking all types of food, but street tacos are the best, and brewing his own beer.
