This yearly gathering brings together skilled students and industry-leading companies passionate about the green industry. Through competitive events, networking, and the NCLC Career Fair students can showcase their skills to prominent companies. Among the many premier landscape companies, contractors, and suppliers, LID Landscapes is an active participant by joining annually to network, recruit, and award students with scholarships from all across the nation.
NCLC Event Highlights:
The competition includes 30 competitive events from displaying arboriculture techniques and installing hardscapes to computer-aided design and sales presentations where over 600 students across the nation from over 50 distinct colleges and universities, put their knowledge to the test while industry-leading companies asses and invite them to join their ever-growing teams.
Alongside competitive events, the NCLC hosts the largest career fair in the landscape industry. The National Collegiate Landscape Competition (NCLC), organized by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), not only fosters companionship and skill development but also offers valuable scholarships to deserving students.
Scholarships:
- The NALP Foundation has awarded over 1.8 million in scholarships to more than 1,500 horticulture and landscape students.
- James Martin Associates (our parent company) and LID Landscapes have actively supported the NCLC for over 30 years by being proud ambassadors and awarding $15,000 to deserving students during the NCLC Event.
